Dreams and Visions Pt II
So I went and got my nails done today. And do you know what the nail tech said after studying them? He gave me a puzzled look and said, "All of your tips are falling off." Then he started to clip them as far as they would go. Suddenly he stopped and looked up at me and said..."Do you know why all of your tips disentigrated?" And I looked at him and exclaimed, "Actually, no. Whenever I have to take off nails, I have to soak them for an hour." He then began to rip off all of the tips without soaking them first! And he was right! They came right off! And they didn't even hurt!!!
After he finished my nails, I was at the nail dryer and I thought about what happened. And then I began to pray. Did you know that God can help you pray? He was sitting there, right next to me...coaxing me...giving me the desire to pray and as I prayed He was giving me the words to speak from my heart. And I started crying and I kept saying over and over again- "I believe you, Lord...I believe you, Lord. I believe EVERYTHING you said, I believe in everything that you are..." And as the tears streamed down my face, I didn't wipe them away. Because I was PROUD that I was crying..I was PROUD that my heart was showing up in my face. I wanted everyone to see my tears...because my authentic self..the one that God birthed on the day I rededicated my life to Him- was emerging. And I wasn't ashamed.........
God is so real.
EDIT: Well, funny thing...the acrylic on my thumb nails are now disintigrating! Both of them! *le-sigh* ^_^
