Gold Fairies and Blue Balls

Marybeth's Birthday was great. We had cake. I had a few MCP people donate some many for a gift certificate to BB&C. Afterwards, Melissa and I got a bit tipsy at the Whiskey tasting and ended up doodle dueling and giggling alot. We munched pizza and sammiches and hung out until rather late at the store. Afterwards, I met up with Jennifer and Matt at Purple onion to chat.

Saturday I got a few things done. I picked up some art supplies and headed to the store. The first of the green fairies is now in the kitchen with plans for more. I listened to the couple of people who showed up for what the bleep. Then we watched Harry potter until I was kidnapped by Ryan and Kerri for some sushi at SPR. Great oysters, but their sushi just isn't that good.

I did a half shot of the Gold Absinthe with a couple peoples on Saturday night. Dunno if I like it without the anis. I mean, sure the liquorish taste is bad, but the bitterness of wormwood may be worse. I guess that means I need to mix it with something stronger than sugar water. Still, a nice thick feeling followed by weird sensation is fun.

Sunday was my game. I grabbed lunch with Ryan before heading up to the store to run my game. It wet ok. Marty, Jason, and Tanner (plus Mitch) played for about 4-5 hours. Melissa showed up late, but dove right in. Jason is trying my nerves... alot. Everything from interrupting and talking over me to just being goofy and disruptive in the "not-fun" way. He pushes rules, most of which are wrong, and explains things wrong frequently or in too advanced terms. I don't mind and actually like having someone there to bounce rules off of in case I make mistakes, but he demands so much attention that I have limited time for the new players. Ugh. On a side note, though, Tanner went to throw a big die at him and nailed him in the nuts. Much laughing ensued.

We hung out with pizza and card games afterwards. I joined up with Tanner, K, Ryan, Patricia, and Patrick at Rojo for drinks after that. All in all, a great weekend.

I'm seriously considering getting a Marty massage when I get back from NC.

Speaking of which, alot to do before Friday. Egad.

Meaningful Phrase: "It takes three different bites to make you part of the undead. Its like having Vampirism on lay-a-way."
