In Short:
LARP has ended for the season. The last session was alot of fun. I helped find the plot because my character has a touch of kleptomania and helped defeat the large locust monster by throwing snacks at it. Ph34r my m0r4l pwn4ge!
I got over being sick, only to have everyone else get the crud. But everyones mostly better now.
A couple weeks ago, my parents had to go up to Tuscaloosa to save my sister from the hospital. She was up there visited her fiance' when she got these really bad abdominal pains. After some tests, they found some stuff around her gallbladder. They came back to B'ham and had more tests done. The pain went away and they found not really problems with my sister. My thoughts? Well, my sister is a no red meat/vegetarian athlete who recently went to a low carb diet. It was only a matter of time before something inside her rebeled.
Have I mentioned I seriously dislike drama. And its even worse when I get dragged into someone else's. Long story short: They can work it out and get back to me. Ugh. And if I keep getting dragged into it, I might get very un-Taoist like.
So, I screwed up at work. I missed sending over ONE referral and it caused my bosses, my director, and an advocate to be subpoenaed. I didn't loose my job, but man, that was insane. I was even SICK the day the referral came through and was only give 4 days before this thing happened.
The good news! My girl is shopping for plane tickets. So, this is a go!! And she said she might want to go to Gulf Wars for a couple of days! I'm not sure how that will work out. Could be a blast, though. But, I forsee it being rather cold. Plus, if that's the case, I'll be taking off a few days before court week. Which means everything will have to be perfect before I leave work. But, to hear her talk about SCA, the touch of excitement... I can't wait. I can't wait to see her!! *cough cough* Ok, I'm better now.
