Flowers and the Inevitable Wedding
Yule Dinner: Not nearly as many people showed this year. I think it was the weather and the fact that its the same week as the Yule Ritual. But, I brought roses as per usual and handed them off. I have a good number left over. Will probably take them up to Larp. Saturday is, definitely, going to be nuts.
Sister: On my way to get the roses, I called Lauren to chat about gifts. We got off talking though. She will be in town for 5-6 weeks, but definitely wants to go out a few times while here. And Fro, she demands to see you if you get into town. Gotta love the Fro. But she also said that they've set a date for the wedding... and I need to pay attention. I mean, I'm gonna have to help out with the planning and being a Brides Maid and all that. One of SEVEN probably brides maids. What the hell does my sister need with SEVEN Brides Maids?? She said she just couldn't choose. *sigh* Anyways, the whole thing unnerves me. I'm excited for her.. but hell, she's my baby sister.. all grown up and marrying a redneck.
Bride's Maid: After helping out with the Fliss wedding, I kinda have my feet slightly damp for what's about to happen. Lauren informed me that I will probably get to pick out my own dress, but all the girls will be in the same color. Now I get to tackle the challenge of finding a dress that covers my tat. I mean, the last thing Lauren needs is for her freaky sister to be showing off her Heretic Body Mod in a nice church. heh. Its doable though.
In other news: Talked a bit with Kelly. I might have my groups set for the game. I want it tiny. Perhaps asking for four x two was a bad idea. Ugh. But, I should be able to pull it off. Just got to get some character sheets.
