Hee..I looked at that house online when saomigray posted about it. It looks really awesome weird, but cool. If I didn't already have a mortgage, I'd be looking at it.
You may never see the end of projects with this house, since by the time you finish with all that's not to your liking now, regular maintenance issues will start popping up too. If it's worth it to you to be so tied to a project house, I say go for it!
oh man, that house is amazing. You seriously need teh carpeting out of the bathrooms, though. it doesn't seem like a big deal at frst, but after a little while, it's AWFUL. my house had one bathroom like that. drives everyone NUTS. If you get that house, can I come live there? I think my plants would like those skylight-type-things... ;)
If you get this house, you could always take in temporary roommates to help with the cost of upkeep. Y'know..."The roof will need fixing this year...wanna coma stay with us for the summer?"
Already got the possible roomies. At least until I can get my Masters and LPC. But that's an idea. What with the excessive number of rooms in the house. Hell, if someone doesn't mind coming up stairs, there's a den and bar in the basement that could be a bed room.
