Rattling, rambling, blah and stuff.
I took the time to read over my LJ for the last year or so. I’ve roller-coastered the last 365 and yet, I’m seeing that the things I loved then I’m still doing now. The goals I set mostly followed through. I’m doin’ alright.
Though, there’s oddity at work. Apparently, Sally stumbled across my profile on OKCupid. Of course it shows that I’m bi-sexual and Taoist/pagan (They don’t have to many options on there). On and off, she’s grilled me a bit about it. Even called me Monday to ask if she could make a referral for me to someone else on Ok Cupid. I guess, for all her grilling, she missed the part of my profile that says I’m in a relationship and looking for friends and penpals. *rolls eyes* Great investigation there. I guess the whole thing just kinda caught me off guard that she would be that nosey. I’m relatively quiet about my personal personal life at work and she wanted to get all in my business. Thpppt. Not only that, though, but one of my other coworkers I'd mentioned my discomfort to about the situation told me some days later than she'd informed several other members of the team about these facts. Grrr.
Goblet of Fire down. Started Order of Phoenix. Maybe I’ll finish Half Blood Prince before I see the movie?.... naaaaah.
Seeing Weird Asian House on the inside tonight. Yes, we are seriously considering this house. I’m trying to schedule some time for a pre approval loan stuff.
Kitties went to vet. They fine.
Friday, great food at Nathan’s and gaming. Wow, intense, game changing events. Then 4th of July Saturday: food at my parents, pop by Legion for a little gaming (dammit, Tanner!), grab Patricia, fireworks on my back porch with friends and sis, gib, and her friend Allison. Followed by curses and icecream. Tasty, good day! Sunday, chat with Kelli about costumes. Then, saw Transformers with Kelli and Tanner. Sure, not best movie of the year, but a hell of a lot of fun. BOOM!
We’re having a psychic fair at the shop on July 18! I’ll be doing my spirit portraits, but more so henna and body paint. I hope to get a piece painted to display then to drum up people to show up for the fundraiser for Witches Ball the next week. We’ve already got awesome stuff for that auction (like silver jewelry and gaming books). Phew.
Went to a surprise party for one of the guys on ETC. The peeps there are nice, just still getting to know them. I definitely get a little fish syndrome when I go with Tanner to hang out. There, I’m just “Tanner’s GF” and all of them are so comfortable. But many do try to chat me up one on one. Bit by bit.
