last week of school before fall break
my goal for this week is to drink every night and go to all my classes. i am going to be on the fucking ball this week. monday was a success. i drank at home and at old chicago. today i have made it to all of the classes that i've had so far.
in other news i saw a groundhog in the "wild". i've seen groundhogs at the brookfield zoo before, but yesterday on our walk at bradley park the dogs chased a groundhog out of the trees, it had at least a good 20 lbs. on poor baby freddy, but he gave it a good bark. it was fucking hilarious, it ran out in front of us and i was like oh my god what the fuck is that thing. katie and i just stood there laughing. Later on still in the park lucy and i were accosted by a black lab. I picked her up when he came charging at us. his owners obviously thought he was well trained enough to be off a lead...hmmm...i think you are wrong. the dog jumped all over me and the people never said anything. but he was all up in our shit. once again poor freddy just sat in katies arms shaking. they really do enjoy these walks though, they are the most exciting part of their day.
