Most of this is the result of my father being a cheap-ass bastard who also hates flying, so when I was a kid we drove everywhere. Obviously not Hawaii -- I went there with my mom, my sister, and my great-aunt, who treated all of us to a Hawaiian vacation when I was in junior high. New York is on there because of my 36 hours in Manhattan to do the Letterman show.
