I made it through the weekend! The kids party was terrific - all the little 'uns had a blast, just running and jumping and sliding for an hour. Cake and ice cream and out the door. Spongebob was a big hit. Yes, I have pics, but haven't gotten them off my camera yet.

Yes, say it like that short woman from Poltergeist.   After two days, more hours than I can count, and much labor, my home is clean enough to accept visitors. The visitors on Sunday will only be relatives (only meaning they won't really care if my house is clean, as opposed to visitors who would make deduce things about me based on the cleanliness ( Read more... )

I THINK I'm finally all caught up. I've gotten more excerpt booklets printed up for this weekend's appearance at the Collingswood Book Festival (drop on by if you're in the area), made some more beaded goodies for my next craft show, and actually gotten some words written in the WIP.

Thanks to everyone for all the birthday wishes! Wow, MySpace really is efficient with that, tons of people dropped by my profile! Yesterday we were busy all day. First we went to Ikea, where we bought two bookcases. My stash of books has threatened to overtake the house, and they're just piled on top of each other, on top of the full bookcase. ( Read more... )
