Friday Five...

Sep 07, 2007 07:26

Whew! The week is done, and school has started again. I won't be working for at least another two weeks, and last year there was a big hullaballoo about the amount of 'personal time' the teachers in my district took in September, so I don't know if I'll work at all in Sept. I usually get a couple of days in though, hopefully.

In other news, Hubby and I just bought a memory foam topper for our mattress, which isn't in bad shape, but was causing us back pain. So rather than a new bed, we got the topper. Got it cheap from Overstock. Best night's sleep ever. If I could afford it, I'd buy a mattress with the stuff on it, but those are like $2,000.

Going to the Ren Faire tomorrow! Packing up all the babies and the fam and driving out to Lancaster. Fixed Hubby's kilt, so he's all set. Ry said "Daddy, you're wearing a skirt."

"It's a MAN skirt," says Hubby. Fortunately it's Irish weekend at the Faire, so it all works out.

Yes, pictures will be taken. :)

Anyway, Summer is over, Fall is coming. Today's five is Five Things I love about Fall...

1. Temperatures below 85 degrees.
2. No Humidity
3. Beautiful foliage. I can't wait for the leaves to change here, it's really beautiful.
4. HALLOWEEN!
5. Being able to take Ry outside without fear of heat exhaustion.

Over at Independent Book Report, my first Publisher of the Week feature. It will normally run on Monday, but this week Monday was a holiday.

Have a great weekend!
