I am such a Geek...

I took yesterday off. Yes, that's right. Well, I did work on a couple of pages of Light Novel, and I did read part of a book I'm reviewing (but that's not really work, is it?), but I didn't make candles or spend all day in front of the computer.

Anyway, I spent almost six hours watching BBC America. It was Sci-Fi weekend. I actually started on Saturday afternoon, this was the follow-up. I watched several hours of HEX, a show that only ran for two seasons, and the second season was SO much better. I had seen parts of the first season before, and it wasn't that great. But after watching parts of season two, it was a shame it got cancelled.

Then I watched like the first six episodes of Doctor Who, the first season. By 'the first season', I mean the Ninth Doctor, Christopher Eccleston. They call it first season because the whole show disappeared for sixteen years before being resurrected. I used to watch The Doctor all the time when I was younger. Tom Baker, 'all teeth and curls and scarf' was MY doctor. I lost track after the blonde guy with the celery pinned to his lapel. Apparently I didn't miss much.

BUT I LOVED Christopher as The Doctor. And it looks like the show got a better budget. Too bad he only stayed for one season. But the David Tennant ones (Barty Crouch, Jr. from 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire') are coming up soon. They look good too.

Yes, I am a geek. I watch British TV and like it.  I used to watch Absolutely Fabulous too, but I haven't seen that anywhere for awhile. It used to be on Comedy Central. Funny stuff.

Ok, so today it's back to work. I know it's a holiday, but I have to start doing things. Candles need to be poured so I can switch out the holiday ones at the shop. Craft fair season is coming up soon. I don't do too many spring ones, the Fall ones are better, but I'm looking ahead. And maybe I'll put aside some time to work on my book. It's plodding, plugging along. At least it's something.

Later!
