FINISHED!
The Crown of Zeus re-re-rewrite is done! Final word count is 65,788, down from about 67,400. Nothing major was cut, all the good MC 'stuff' I put in during the last rewrite stayed. It reads like silk. Of course I found something else, another layer, to add to it. Now I need to stop fiddling with it. LOL

Ankh has chapter titles now, and is ready for submission. It feels good to have the two of them done. You work and work and WORK on something, when it's done it's part relief and part emptiness. In honor of all the work being done, I'm taking a few days off and catching up on all the other stuff - manuscripts that need to be read, a review that needs to be written, books that need to be read. Crafts that need making. LOL. I have to finish my sister's baby blanket. Someday I also need to finish the Fantasy Alphabet Book. Over the winter maybe.
Once I'm all caught up,I'll be the onto next draft of Return to Zandria. School starts on Sept. 7, but we're going away that next week, so I'll have some time to work on it before work gets into swing again. The substitute orientation was good, and I'm kind of excited to get back in the classroom It'll be fun! And Ry's happy to be going to daycare and play all day with other kids.
Finished Princess Academy last night - what a wonderful book! A keeper if there ever was one. I need a bigger bookcase.
Finally fixed my computer, I think. If any techno geeks are out there... well, I finally got into the setup utility. The dumb thing was looking to boot the internal diskette (whatever THAT is) first, instead of the internal hard drive. It was hanging up on the internal diskette, since there's no OS on it, no Windows. So I switched it so that it got the HDD is booted first. Shut down, restarted, no problem. Whew. At least I didn't have to reload anything. That would have stunk big time.
