Happy Chinese New Year! GIVEAWAY GIVEAWAY!!!
Actually, tomorrow is Chinese New Year. But I have some super cool stuff to give away, and I don't want to wait. In case you missed it, the newest Library of Athena book is called THE MIRROR OF YU-HUANG, and there is a ton of Chinese mythology stuffed in there, which was really fun to do, because it's not your beaten path kind of mythology, and it was fun (and exhausting) to research
So, in honor of the book and Chinese New Year (it's the Year of the Rabbit), I have some cool gift packs to give away! Here's what it looks like:
Isn't it adorable! In case you can't tell, there is a small cloth bag, a paper Chinese fan with a dragon on it (and I signed all the fans), a "Chinese Yo-Yo"(one of those cool waxed paper things on a stick), AND a Chinese rubber duck. I saw them and could NOT resist.
That's what's in the picture, but there may just be some other fun stuff I toss in there, like bookmarks and magnets and whatever else I have lying around...even, possibly, a beaded bookmark with a Chinese coin charm OR a handmade beaded bracelet. TWO lucky ducks (ha ha), will also win a signed copy of THE MIRROR OF YU-HUANG (or an electronic .pdf if you prefer).
