Bits and bobs on a Tuesday

So I don't think I've posted a blog in a week. I've been Tweeting, sure, because I have that cool app that lets me tweet without being on my internet browser. Here's what you've missed:

*I have a cold, that started on the evening of Fourth of July. Sunday I felt like doing nothing but sleep. Head full of cotton, sore tonsils. Now it's down to a slightly stuffed feeling and mild coughing plus a bit of tonsil ache.

*The new car is great. I only put gas in it for the second time yesterday, after driving nearly two weeks. Yay for fuel-efficient cars!

*Still no GRE scores; the schools I applied to haven't gotten them yet either, because Southern sent me another letter saying they were missing them from my file. Sigh.

*Harry Potter and the HBP video game for Wii is SO MUCH FUN. Using the remote and nunchuck to cast spells is amazing. I want to find Harry Potter and the OotP for Wii, but it's difficult or outrageously expensive. My copy for PS crapped out on me; I'd like to replace it.

*I actually did exercise yesterday, despite the cold. 40 minutes on the elliptical walker. I had music to listen to, thinking I need to download some videos to my mp3 player to watch while I do the thing. I was planning on walking with Ry, but he's been waking up so late these days it gets too hot to go.

*I want a WiiFit board for my birthday, and the new EA trainer program. I think I could do it more days than not.

*Been writing, and trying to just go right straight through on the first draft. Already have to rip up some of what I've put down and fix it. No, I need to. I found that just letting the words come out, I was writing this really long, boring scene that showed alot about the character, but was really boring. I have an idea that will be more active and still get the job done. I think.

*Still planning on doing video readings of CoZ and AoI; just waiting until I stop sounding like a pack-a-day-for-40-years smoker. You don't really want to watch me hack and cough into the camera. Soon, though.
