Bits and Bobs
* Tomorrow the Big Scholastic truck will pull up in front of my school and unload boxes of new books in my library. Sort of like Christmas morning! Squee! Book Fair week is going to be hectic, but tomorrow morning I have no classes until mid day, so I have all morning to take in their new book goodness.
*Definitely going to SCBWI conference next winter in NYC. Because I heard from Seven Seas and they'll be sending me the next two books in the Wicked CIty series to adapt over the summer and fall. Assuming the contract pay is the same, more than enough to take that trip. At this point, I've earned it.
*Got page proofs of said Wicked City 1 book (no, NOT for children. It's got naughty bits. But hey, I need to eat, right?) and squeed a bit when I saw my name on the inside cover of a Tor book.
*Papers. Finals. Bleck.
