Idea post
I have yet another brilliant, made-of-awsome idea for a prize to give away to celebrate the print release of the first two LoA books. I know, the first one's not until late, LATE December.
Believe me, it's worth the wait. I'll need summer-type time to make it work.
I'm also meeting a librarian sometime this month to work out a book launch for the CoZ print edition. Thinking interactive - she's got a problem getting kids to come to the library (not my local one, another county over). I'm thinking short story writing contest, something prize-worthy, like GC's to local bookstore and signed copy of book prize worthy.
Snacks, need snacks. Anything else? I have my powerpoint presentation, and it's fun when I do it at schools, but I dunno about a library where the kids are all different ages and already don't really visit the library. Plus if I get something really cool and fun, I can get the local paper to show up, which is always a boost.
Ooo, how about COSTUME contest? Something Greek-mythology related. That has promise. I'll take other suggestions too, if you've got any.
