I've been awarded a ROAR!
My new author friend Ciar Cullen awarded me a ROAR, for "writing magically about magical things." Thanks Ciar! She's a real doll, and I'm so glad she's my friend.
This award has been floating around the internet for awhile, but this is the first time I've gotten one. In case you missed it...

Three things I believe make writing good and powerful...
1. Words that transcend themselves and become pictures in your head.
2. Characters that go through trials and come out on the other side changed. If I cry for them, so much the better.
3. A story that stays with you long after you've closed the book.
