My new author friend
Ciar Cullen awarded me a ROAR, for "writing magically about magical things." Thanks Ciar! She's a real doll, and I'm so glad she's my friend.
This award has been floating around the internet for awhile, but this is the first time I've gotten one. In case you missed it...
The rules are:
Link back to the person who tagged you. List three things that you believe are necessary to make writing good and powerful. Tag five others and comment on their blog informing them that they’ve been tagged with this award.
Three things I believe make writing good and powerful...
1. Words that transcend themselves and become pictures in your head.
2. Characters that go through trials and come out on the other side changed. If I cry for them, so much the better.
3. A story that stays with you long after you've closed the book.
Who to tag, who to tag...
1.
J.W. Coffey - because she's not afraid to write about things I don't want to think about.
2.
Jake Druga-Johnston - because she's living her dream, even though life keeps trying to drag her down.
3.
Jimmy Gillentine - someday he'll write a coffee table book about popcorn.
4.
Elizabeth C. Bunce - because she's made of awesome
5.
Kim Baccellia - for hanging in there with her words, even when things look bleak.
I think Kim and Elizabeth may have gotten one already, but so what? They deserve another!
