No, you can't see.

So, not long after I posted the 'lookee lookee' post, I got a note from the cover artist. Up until that moment I had no idea who the publisher had assigned my book to.

I love it. It's bold and bright and wonderful. And you can't see it. Sorry, until the publisher and the art dept. approve it, it's hush hush. I keep looking at it, though, and I think you'll like it.

I FINISHED the first round edits. Whew! Well, I had to have something to fill my days, only working one day this week. And now they're done and I have to see if I did a good job or not. In the meantime, I've continued to chip away at SORCERER, and I'm thinking I'll be done on Sunday. It's the longest novel I've ever written, and it may get longer before it gets shorter. I know it needs punch and pop and some smoothing and shaping. First I need to finish it and then leave it alone. Study for the Praxis, work on the blurb for ANKH OF ISIS, so it can go into the back of CROWN and tempt people to buy it when it comes out later this year. Work on finishing MIRROR.

And we've decided on boy's last Christmas gift. We've gotten him stuff - a Vtech laptop (educational!) and some matchbox cars and a Tony Steward fleece blanket (his favorite driver). We didn't know what else to get him. But the boy needs a new bike. He's too tall for the one he's been riding.

And probably some Transformers.

And, in our continuing game of "What did the UPS man bring me", we have my nephew's gift - Battlefront II for PSP. He bought the PSP with his own money, and it's his newest gadget. So the kid needs games!

Later taters!
