I recently finally finished painting my charity dog ornaments and sent them out to the person who had ordered them in Iowa. They're actually painted to match her current and deceased dogs.
I did them for the NESR auction a while back; it has just taken a while to finish them between my graduate classes, Marcia needing to send me photos of better views of one of the dogs (pre-digital camera), and a LOT of fussing to get Dutch's face correct.
I may do some more in my spare time; depends if anybody else wants some and can pay for them in this economy...and if I have time in between searching for a job.
Money would go to NESR (http://www.nesr.info/) as usual. I know they use it for good stuff; right now they're still dealing with caring some of the Montana dogs and finding them homes.
Thanks for the reassurance on postal matters. Those took time and care to paint, and I really fear them getting lost. Heh; they're either fairly inexpensive ornaments, or totally priceless, depending on how you look at it.
Oh good, I was hoping you had found the emails helpful.
