I'm In a Show!!
Yes!! Finally!! After 6 years of not doing any acting I am finally in a show!! *Does a happy dance* Okay, here's the story. Joe and I both went to the audition for a show called "Nightmare; Face Your Fears". It was an open call here on Staten Island and I figured we might as well go for it. Basically it's a haunted house, but professionally produced and cast. The production company is called the Psycho Clan. (Appropriate for me) It's the group that produced the Tony Award winning Broadway show "The Lieutenant of Inishmore". So it's a foot in the door, so to speak. For my audition I had to scream. For me, simple. One of the people waiting to audition stated, "Well, that made me crap myself." LOL And the guy doing the auditioning told me I had the best scream in all five boroughs. *Smiles proudly and insanely* This thing takes place in an old abandoned hospital here on Staten Island called "Seaview". It's honestly the perfect setting and the creepiest place I've ever been to. Joe also got cast! He's in the full time show group. I had to accept the weekend and odds and ends because of my job. But I'm so happy for Joe because it's his first job. Yes, it's a paying job. LOL So he can say that his first job was haunting a house. Robert is not at all suprised. He'll probably be able to come to at least one of the shows. Like all theatre it's 6 nights a week with Mondays off. What roles either of us will have we have no idea yet. The first rehearsal is Tuesday and it opens on Thursday. *Smiles giddily* I'll keep everyone updated, don't worry. Considering I'm not completely awake yet, I hope this entry makes some sense. *Smiles happily, crazily, and sleepily*.
