Racist
I am really liking my summer class. Yeah it is long and requires way to much reading and things, but it is very interesting. Today I spent about 20 minutes disagreeing with the professor on the definition of racism. Lemme give u the definition and explain it and tell you why I disagree.
Racism-is any attitude action, or intaction which subordinates a person because of his/her colr. Racism is based on the ability to exercise power; power plus prejudice equals racism.
So basically the definition and the way the prof wants us to view this is that without having the supreme power, you cant be racist. Meaning only whites in the US could be racist. I would have to disagree with that all together. I believe anyone can be racist and its a matter of belifs then power. What would you all think of this? Do you think that only whites in the US could be racist? Lemme know. Maybe I should publish a book of my views of racism. That could be interesting. Well HW time. I also have to pack today. YAY aircondition. I CANT WAIT! BYE ALL
