(no subject)
The events that have ensued throughout the last couple of days kinda make me feel like i am in the twilight zone. Some crazy things have happened and i will let you all into my world.
-On my way to tan Friday after babysitting, the entire area where these new apartments (my cousin has a lease there for next year) are being built was blocked off. What happened was a construction worker was crushed by huge concrete slabs weighing over thousands of pounds each. Crazy freak accident.
-On Saturday when Ash, Chrisite, and megan and me were driving back to the dorms after dinner, College was blocked of and so of course we cant help but gauk. What we see is a car flipped over and practically flattened to the ground and someone being but into an ambulance with a white sheet over them.
-Saturday night after hanging at kelli's for a little we decide to stop by these apartments where we were on Thursday, and the entire front door and a window were smashed in leaving glass all over for us to step on.
-Also saturday night while driving saw one minor drug bust and the one HUGE drug bust. There were baout 10 cop cars and k-9 units surrounding this parking lot and so again we gawk. We see this truck with his bed open and cops just pulling out bags and bags of drugs. Cracking down around here. Scary.
-Also pretty crazy on Saturday night when cops were seemingly surrounding matts house and they were telloing me I was gonna go to jail. False alarm.
Anyway, other than those incidents it was just another extremely busy, sleep deprived, extended weekend here at ISU. Fun times, but I can't wait to be home for a month and see everyone!!! STILL need a job. Anyone??? Alright, I will now be home Friday afternoon instead of saturday. WOOOHOOO.
