Well, it has been about 2 months since I have written in here. Since the last time I wrote I have come home from ISU for the summer and worked my ass off. I just started my babysitting job this week and managed to get fired from Sylvan yesterday. After 3 and a half years of hard work there I have gotten fired. I still can't believe it, and when the biggest asshole of a boss told me I thought he was joking. Oh well, I am better off without Sylvan. Basically I got fired because of their budget cuts (which is of no one's fault but the boss who fired me) and because my boss was on a huge power trip. Well I am here to say:
NEVER WORK THERE- they'll work you like a dog and treat you like shit and pay you peanuts
NEVER GO THERE FOR TUTORING- Sylvan is a scam and for the money you pay to go there it isn't worth what you get. No one learns, the teachers can't teach for shit, and it just isn't worth $48 an hour.
SPREAD THE WORD THAT SYLVAN IS A SCAM
If you couldn't tell I completely disagree with my being fired and so do many other people- but don't worry. I am not gonna blow the building up or anything, just maybe throw a brick through the window or something like that.
Anyway- HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTIE. To celebrate Christie Wessling's 19th birthday we are going drunk bowling tonight aroung 9/ 9:30 at Poplar Creek Bowling Alley ($1 bowl). Anyone who is friends with her and can stand me should come!!!
