(no subject)
my thesis for my narrative essay is due on tuesday and I have *no clue* what to write about. it wouldn't be such a big deal if we didn't have to base it on a PHOTO. I'm in college and I'm, believe it or not, from somewhere besides auburn. like most families, I'm sure, my mother has a very TIGHT GRIP on all photos taken of me before the day that I moved out.
so basically I have to find an interesting photo and think of something to write about. it needs to have something to do with the photo. some important lesson needs to be learned or realized in the end. I'm writing an episode of scrubs, only I'm a lot less boring. in order to write this, I need a photo. are you catching on yet. NO PHOTOS = NO ESSAY IDEA = NO THESIS BY TUESDAY. wtf. so I have to look through the handful [literally..] of photos that I have here in auburn and pull something out of my ass. [not literally..]
I bought a big ass citronella candle at walmart the other day and it has helped .01%. :/ I was sitting about 5 inches away from it yesterday and I was still a mosquito buffet. I looked up "natural" repellants and apparently lemon eucalyptus oil is really good but it's smelly. I talked to my mom about it and she said "DON'T PUT ANYTHING UNNATURAL ON YOUR SKIN OMGZ YOUR BODY ABSORBS IT AND YOU DIIIIEEEEEE!!" then she went on to tell me about avon's akin so soft shit. I looked it up and it's active ingredient is something *developed* by bayer. as in, not natural. I read this information to her out loud and her response was, "yeaaaah! you should try it!" she seriously goes from being weird ass hardcore "natural liver" to completely tossing it out the window to be normal on a whim.
the guy came to fix our tv today. and by fix, I mean take for fucking ever to get here [not his fault, though, but whatever - he was supposed to be here on wednesday] all the way from atlanta just to jot down the serial number off of the back of the tv. he's going to order whatever parts he assumes are broken and then he'll be back to replace them in a few weeks. believe it or not I'm capable of reading, out loud, a series of numbers. could have skipped that trip all the way here, but oh well. their gas.
I'm going to go and clean some more I guess. I think drew's dad and brother are going to be here around 2? hopefully I can get it all FINISHED FOR REALLY and take good pictures.
