(no subject)
I can't tell if the wind is blowing stuff into our house or if the noises I'm hearing are the neighbors, our air conditioner, or chloe in the other room. but I have a feeling it's the wind because phoebe is looking a little confused.
it has rained ALL DAY today and I'm so not impressed. :/ my poor begonias look like they have bed-head from all of the wind. I took them off of the banister on the patio and put them on the deck in front of the grill. that's another "NOT PERFECT, OMGZ" thing about the new place. absolutely no outdoor shelter from any elements. hopefully they will recover.
it's supposed to rain all week, too. this is not going to make going to classes any easier on me. I HATE going to class in the rain. there's *no way* to stay dry. the transit stops have no shelter, I have to walk up eleventy-hundred flights of stairs, no good "rain" shoes. wahwahwah, it fucking sucks.
our tv's been a little weird lately so I called best buy this morning and someone is supposed to come look at it on wednesday. between 8am and 5pm. haha. apparently the local person will call me on tuesday to set up a more specific time.
rain is also screwing up my grocery schedule. and chloe is terrified of the woods enough already. I can't even get her on the stairs to go down to the ground in the rain.
my computer gets here monday or tuesday so hopefully the new toy will cheer me up. I set up the printer today and it's really neat. I printed a photo of phoebe and it wasn't as impressive as I'd hoped. but I think that I need to buy a special "photo" ink cartridge to use for pictures. I also need to get a case for my ipod and probably one for the computer, too.
wow - this is the latest I've been up in a long, long time. I took a nap this afternoon and I didn't set an alarm so I ended up sleeping a lot longer than I'd hoped. better go to bed before I really fuck my schedule up..
