o hi.
I've been all over livejournal again lately. mostly reading a lot of random communities. all of this at home time is really getting to me I guess.
holy shit - I just saw a "howstuffworks.com" commercial with a scuba diving cat!! wtf!! I can't even imagine what phoebe would do in that situation. she'd probably barf in her little glass mask.
anyway, so I'm really excited about moving!! we may be moving out earlier than the 4th. could be around july 20th, but I don't know just yet. it's all up to the girls that are moving in here after us. if they want to move in early it'll cost them $260ish, but they won't go through the "homeless for 2 weeks" thing and have to store their stuff anywhere. we're going to have to store our stuff regardless because we can't move in until the 11th. but if we move out early, the $260 will pay for our storage. BUT, moving out early will mean 2 extra weeks of homelessness for us, bringing the total to 3. :/ I don't have a problem with it, but drew has to be in auburn in order to work.
since I updated last we've adopted a puppy. she's a 6 month old jack russell terrier/beagle mix. her name is chloe and she's super cute. phoebe hates her, but she'll get over it eventually. my mom pretty much shit a brick as soon as I told her about getting her. we had to buy a new couch because she told us that we couldn't borrow hers anymore because the dog and cat "oils" were going to "seep into parts of the couches that could not be cleaned." so yeah, that was a HUGE ordeal. it wasn't until she started making stuff up that I really lost my temper with her. but now it's all okay and she is literally begging me to bring BOTH phoebe and chloe to visit this weekend.
that being said, I think our new couch is going to be awesome. I say "going to be" because even though we got it on like, june 11th, we haven't opened it yet because we don't have the room. we may as well keep it packed so that it will be less likely to get damaged when we move in a few weeks.
I'm all registered for fall classes. I'm taking political economy, english comp I, and intro to psychology. yep, still a freshman, but whatever. drew's also been readmitted and all he needs to do is register for classes. we were going to try and take psychology together but we looked today and he's already taken it. he had no idea. he even got a C. there were a lot of classes on his transcript that he said that he didn't remember ever taking. I don't think that they would change the names of them or anything, but it's a little strange!
