Ehh, still 45 minutes until class.

I really hate people who don't "support" the door or at least hold it for one millisecond before you walk through. When a guy just opens the door for you, it can be patronizing, but when some snotty girl walks through the doorway that was slightly open from someone else opening it for them and they don't even touch it for the person directly behind...it's rude. Oh, and not to mention how much I hate people who don't let you over into another lane when there's a star-tran bus in front of you, blocking your way. I mean, c'mon, what is it going to take? A few seconds? Man, I am the nicest driver you will ever meet...as far as letting people over goes.

Okay, so, anyway. I'm in the lab in Love library...waiting for Classical Mythology. I wore sandals today = I can't feel my toes while outside for long periods of time. And, my jeans are inevitably always a little too long, so they're soaked at the bottom. And ahh, I just want to be home in a blanket watching tv.

There's a lady...I can't remember her name and I know I should...but anyways, she's authored several books on international relations and she's speaking at the lied center today at 3:30 about similar issues. Anybody wanna go? Dustin, eh? Call my cell if you wanna go.

So I have to go in and talk to my Astronomy teacher to get back a few points on one of the essays on the test. First off, 75% of my essay is correct, which he admits, but he still gave me a 2/10. Second, my first essay I know is partially wrong, but he still gave me 10/10. In any case, he grades extremely inconsistently and the fact that I have to go in with him alone...is sort of creepy. I hate having to "tell" a teacher something, to prove you know it, when they know what you're relaying is basic to them.

Not to mention, his emails sound like they were written by some satanic cult, attempting to notify you of your sins.

I can't decide if I'm excited for nationals or not. We're going to be there thursday-tuesday, which seems odd enough - and pretty much like a normal speech tournament - and the only "exciting" team unity thing we're doing is the "AFA after party". Pretty much people getting drunk off their ass, which is funny to be around - but something I opt not to participate in. I think there's a car of people leaving before the party who have a ton of school work, which I most definitely do, so I won't be around to experience what could be a hilarious time...but then again, I'm really sick of "team unity" parties being drinking. It sucks for people who'd rather not participate.

These next few weeks need to end quickly. Basically all of the end of the year speech stuff. Sure, banquets can be entertaining, but when we have "a parent weekend" then nationals then the banquet and finally a public performance night...it gets old.

Hey, who wants to go glasses shopping with me on saturday? I like my current glasses, but I want to look for some more.
