(no subject)
Alot has happened lately. Moved out of my house and back into the dorms. bleh. It's still strange to me. This morning after class I felt like I should go home to Daisy Lane, but instead I went the opposite direction to good ol' Holmes hall.
Started work again. It's just training this week, so basically we get paid for doing a bunch of nothing. Today we made our schedules and sat and listened to Rick talk for a little while and got paid for it. nice. Tomorrow we're going on some tours. Field trips at work and getting paid for it is nice. Next week I'm going to be working a good 40 hours though, the only day I'll have off will be Tuesday. During the school year I'm working every weekend (but not Saturdays!) for a total of 24 hours. By the time middle of the semester rolls around I'll probably kill myself for this.
I want more people to move into the dorms. I can tell this is going to be a good year already. We've already talked to our RA more in about one day than we did to our RA for the whole year last year. She's really nice, so I'm excited about it. I just really want to know who our suitemates are going to be, since they're obviously not going to be Harri and Cait. :( We will just have to wait and see.
I think I may be coming home for Labor Day weekend. I'm guessing most people will be at school or moving in and such. It'll be good to just hang out at home for a little while though. Take a break from all the work. Someone did promise me that they would hang out with me while I was home though. You best believe I'll be pissed if it doesn't happen.
P.S. I hate taking showers in water that smells like iron. I also hate drinking water that tastes like pennies. That's even the filtered stuff.
Chem Lab final tomorrow and Calc final on Wednesday. not so much fun. I should probably start studying for those now.
