tonight is the moment we have been waiting for since season seven, and really since weaver was introduced to ER in season two. that is practically ten years or at least five years in the making. tonight, weaver meets her birth mother. without this storyline, dr. dave would still be around, and possibly dr. chen, because the marfans case, season eight, would have turned out much differently. weaver would not have been eating at doc magoos with that guy who claimed to have found her mom. she would not have left her pager in the bathroom stall and she would have gotten her page and been able to sweep in for the quick save. with the discovery and subsequent rejection of her birth mother, weaver will need legaspi more than ever. oh, how i hope this is the direction the writers are thinking of. oh, how i would love for elizabeth mitchell to be back on the show. now all that stands in the way, really, is stupid carter's stupid girlfriend, wendall. well, carter should be gone at the end of this season, at least he says he is only staying through the end of his contract which is up at the end of this season, and maybe he will take her with him. then cook county general will be in desparate need of a pysch consult, and who should be waiting in the wings, but legaspi. now that romano is ummm.... dead. he can't be there to fire her. there is no reason for her not to come back. besides elizabeth mitchell isn't working on anything now anyways. that dumb show "the beast" flopped, "lions den" with rob lowe flopped. she needs a little career pick me up. and er needs a little legaspi pick me up.
