After watching two episodes of Six Feet Under, I decided that even though it is 2:30 AM I am not anywhere near tired enough to go to bed yet. The next plan on action was to hop online, check my e-mail, cast my vote for the new 7 Wonders of the World, and possibly look at boots that I will want to but shouldn't consider buying. My plans had taken a backseat however when I noticed an article posted on the MSN homepage.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16587785/ This hurts. Obviously whoever did this felt as if he or she needed to do it to prove a point. Alright, fair enough, but ouch. That goes for everything that happens among silly countries and individuals though- why can't we all just get along?
What's freaky is I now have the ability to picture in my mind the exact setting of where this took place. I remember when Darryn and I walked by it when we set out to explore Athens. I remember our bus driving by it on the way to the Peloponnese and everyone who hadn't seen it yet became excited. I remember John telling me a story of when he and his friends protested outside the building. Oh Life.
I don't have any interesting thoughts at the moment. I have nothing clever to say or nothing exciting to discuss, so I'm going to call it quits for the night and work on getting some sleep. That sounds nice.
