Yasoo!

I really hate riding airplanes. I don’t think it’s the actually ride I hate, but I definitely do not like how I end up missing a whole crap load of time just to get place to place. It was great when I finally landed in Greece, except the part where we were considerably late getting down on the ground. Then having to go through passport security really sucked and I was on the verge of screaming at the people that were pushing their way past me. The lines were ridiculous, as they usually are, but for some reason everyone had the gall to try to slip on by everyone, and then they’d call up to have the rest of their party move on up with them. One woman in front of me got so pissed off at this that she DID yell at the woman trying to do it to her. The thing is, the woman who yelled had just cut in front of me two minutes prior.

Can we say “Double standard”?

Originally I was going to hop on a train to get into the area where my hotel is and then walk the short distance from the station to the street the hotel is on. Well, since I landed and got all situated in the airport HOURS later than what I was supposed to, I decided to just suck up the cost and take a cab to my hotel. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about getting lost while carrying luggage with me. That would have sucked. I made it to the hotel just fine, and the price of the cab was actually a bit cheaper than I thought it was going to be, so that was pretty cool. After I gave my name to the man at the front desk, he said to me “You’re late.” I wasn’t sure if I was in trouble, or even worse I thought that maybe my room wasn’t going to be available anymore. Luckily it was just him NOTICING I was arriving later than I said, and nothing had been changed and my room was waiting for me. The room isn’t bad according to European standards, but I am eager to get out of here and move into my apartment that will be ready tomorrow morning. I really wonder what that will be like.

I’m having troubles calling home. I’ll have to investigate into that whole situation once I actually have the resources to do so. You might think “Uh, find it on the internet you doofus.” Well hopefully at this point I have done just that, but for the time being, I’m writing this post using Microsoft Word. Times are hard. :P
