Holy cow! We're famous! And we were destroyed! North Pole, Alaska was featured in the Avengers written by Brian Bendis. At first when I saw an article published in one of our state's periodicals about the comic, I just thought someone was trying to be funny when they show our post office and giant Santa being blown up. Then my buddy Nick handed me the actual comic book and I about flipped. It was so cool seeing our town picked to be destroyed. I wanted to go to the Comic Shop and pick up a copy, but apparently they've all been sold out and I'm not sure they're going to get anymore. I might try to order it from somewhere, but I don't know as of yet if I can do that. I did find a review on the comic, and although the person who wrote it doesn't seem to like what he read, I can't expect him to appreciate it the same way I do. Oh how exciting!
In other news, yesterday before I wrote three essays (obviously they weren't of the best quality in the end) my sister had me be in photos she was taking for her photography class. Most of them had to be motion shots, so she had me jump in the snow, make a snow angel, throw my dog in the snow (we do it all the time) and eventually she had me do different jumps, leaps and tap steps on the dance floor. It was a lot of fun, except I did a final C-jump and I pulled a muscle in my arm but I hardly notice it. At the end of her little experiment she had me paint my face black and put on white mascara. I'm not exactly sure what she was going after, but I had fun and she seemed to get what she wanted, although I haven't seen her prints yet. I never get to see them! Booo.
Rest time.
