So I don't consider myself a Republican or Democrat. Or Independent. Honestly, I'm not really sure what I am. All I know is, most of the main parties have their head up their hoo-hahs. I was raised Republican, and have many friends who are Democrats, and I believe at the core value, they both have valid and good points. But by the time many politicians have made it into office, they've turned into corrupt, greedy assholes. The sad thing is most of the time, they don't even realize it.
I also usually try to stay out of politics for this very reason. Now, as someone who is concerned with the environment, human and animal rights very passionately - I have to get involved because politics obviously play an important part in these areas.
So of course, you can imagine why Sarah Palin has started to get under my skin as of late. As governor, Sarah Palin championed a bloody aerial wolf-slaughter campaign that continues to this very day. She also planned on offering a $150 bounty for the severed forelimb of each killed wolf. Palin also fought against increased protections for struggling Cook Inlet beluga whales and America's only populations of polar bears. What the fuck is wrong with this bitch!
She also once made the incredibly stupid, disrespectful comment aimed at vegetarians, "If God didn't mean for us to eat animals - why are they made out of meat?" Did you know you were also made "out of meat"? One of the most dumb ass things to say. Ever. As a vegan, you can understand why this just pissed me off.
Now, Discovery Channel thought it would be an *awesome* idea to get this woman to host a show on the wonders of Alaska, called Sarah Palin's Alaska. What. The. Fuck.
So, please join me in saying, "WTF DISCOVERY!?" and sign THIS petition to stop the show. Lord knows she is the very last woman who deserves it.
