I've been seeing some gorgeous covers on soon-to-be-published novels:
Aren't they delicious? The cover of Extraordinary is so lush and green and fresh-looking -- it makes me think of Ireland! I also definitely want to know who that girl is and where she is going (especially in those heels, haha). I'm completely intrigued by the multiple layered images on Clockwork Angel, and I love the fact that the cover model is tipping his hat. The abstract swirling graphics and the mist shrouding Big Ben definitely hint at paranormal goings-on. The only thing I don't like is the phoenix (or eagle, or whatever it is) above the words "The Infernal Devices" -- but this is still a compelling cover that makes me interested enough to read the book. As for Dark Road to Darjeeling, the colors and composition are striking! I'm not too fond of the title's font, but I suppose it does convey a hint of the exotic. I like that the woman is holding a flower while her skirt also looks like a flower petal. I am bothered by one thing, though...the image as a whole looks -- dare I say it? -- a little Twilight-esque.
Anyway, I definitely plan to read all three of these books now. The TBR list just keeps growing....
