What are you waiting for?
I've been even more book-crazy than usual lately. This month I've been acquiring them left, right, and center: Amazon, the library, Paperback Swap...no avenue is safe from my literary gluttony. The problem is, I keep seeing these new books that I really really want! For example, this book actually produced a little screech of glee from me:
I mean, look how adorable that cover is! And I loved Cold Comfort Farm so much, I'm sure this book will be equally amazing! I've already ordered it. :) I'm also getting this book in the same shipment:
I've heard really good things about it, notably from dreamilywistful and aurillia, and Amazon was selling it for $4.40. Can't pass that up! And speaking of Jennifer Echols, she's coming out with a new book in July that looks amazing! For some reason, the story (or at least its synopsis) pushes all my buttons -- in a good way.
PLUS, Robin McKinley is coming out with a new book this year!
OF COURSE I will buy this the second it comes out! Too bad I have to wait 'til November. *grumble grumble*
On a more literal note, I am actually waiting for several books in the mail from Paperback Swap, most notably East of the Sun by Julia Gregson:
It looks like my kind of book, and I'm excited to read it. Plus, I can use it for readtheworld, since it takes place in India!
So anyway, that's my current book lust. What books are you looking forward to?
