Slump, part 2
Wow, I am lacking motivation lately. It recently hit me that I've already finished all the "fun" categories of my 999 Challenge (historical fiction, fantasy, mystery) and now I have to get through the "work" categories (pre-1900 lit, Shakespeare, Pulitzer winners, American classics). While I do love Shakespeare and the classics, sometimes I have to work at getting into the right mood. And it's so much easier to grab something fluffy and fast-moving than to make a commitment to a huge important book. But my self-imposed guilt got to me today and I pulled my Complete Works of William Shakespeare off the shelf. Today's the day I finally read Romeo and Juliet!
