Reading the hunger games books once again. Anyone else obsessed with it? (reading the 3rd book now. I'm really fast hee) I just want to refresh my memory before the movie comes out. I started crying almost from the beginning. It’s crazy. I’ve never anticipated for a movie this much before in my life…I hope it won't dissapoint me and I really

I'm obsessed with Hunger Games! I'm gonna read the first one again before the movie comes out too. I was so afraid that they would ruin this book and ruin Katniss but from everything I've seen, it looks like it could be amazing. I hope so.

yay! That will probably happen to me as well! I get so excited over these books. I will admit I love her and Peeta. I have too many feelings! But I love Katniss. She is such a strong woman figure in a book, which is amazing considering how often girls are written as such weak creatures in books! When Jennifer Lawrence was first cast, I really couldnt picture it. But now that I've seen bits and pieces of her as Katniss, I'm excited to see it!
btw I love your icon.

I remember when I read it the first time and I just burst into tears.

My thoughts exactly!
For some reason, when I saw Jennifer with brown hair I thought "She is katniss 100%". She looks very different as blonde.
Peeta is my favorite character.I've never liked a character as much as I like him. The boy with the bread stole my heart.

The last book had me crying/so upset so often over Peeta and how he was brainwashed. I really thought OH GOD NO they will never be okay and they NEED eachother. and then of course they were. :)But it was hearbreaking.

Exactly! I love the part where she explains why she needs Peeta.
“What I need to survive is not Gale’s fire kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that.”
We all need something/someone to give us hope, especially the ones who tend to think the worst of people. Like I always do, lately.

I just finished my first video of the hunger games if you would like to take a look. I'll probably make more when the movie is out. This one has only clips from the trailer.
