Since everyone’s doing that map I thought I’d add it to my journal. Please do it! I have a new journal layout look! I changed the background pictures to a more recent one of Kylie from last weekend. She has her tongue sticking out a little but I thought it was cute. I added her name in white. I’m not sure if I like the entry table colors black/white with the pic, but we’ll see. What do you all think?
I have new hair!!! Lol. Monday I went to Salon Vogue to get my hair highlighted and trimmed. My hair stylist was on maternity leave so I had to get another lady. I brought in a mag clipping of how I wanted my hair. I wanted light brown and blonde highlights -it turned out that way except she gave me a darker color of brown… it is a warm medium brown. It is my natural brown hair color; if not darker… it is as dark as Kylie’s hair! It was a big change since I hadn’t had that color in about 3 years… but the more I look at it the more I like it. I really like the brown/blonde highlights together. The bottom/back parts are colored brown and the rest has both brown/blonde highlights. When my hair is parted in the middle it looks like chunky stripes but when it is tossed to the side it looks really natural. So, yay -I have a new hair look! ;) I may wear it like this till Spring when I’ll go all blonde again.
My Grandparents (Kylie’s Great-Grandparents) came to my house to see us yesterday. It was good to see them. We plan to go to their house for Thanksgiving dinner. Jerry worked late y-day so I made a big dinner and took him his plate to work. I like visiting him at work on his long days.
Kylie Updates: She loves cheerios! I introduced them to her yesterday and she LOVES those O’s! She is getting to where she only wants to eat finger foods (foods she can feed herself) most of the time. Her snacks are all healthy (Zwieback Toast, Veggie/Fruit Wagon Wheels, Cheerios, fruit/veggie dices, etc.), but I’d still like her to eat her jar baby food more like she used to. She is sleeping amazingly great through the night! She expects to be able to eat ANYTHING Jerry or I eat! If we are snacking in the living room she cruises over to us and BEGGS for whatever we have! The other night we gave her several licks of a lolli pop and a Popsicle and she must have got a sugar high! She was bouncing all over the place, crawling in one big circle, playing with anything in sight and giggling. It was SO funny watching her! I have been trying to get her to use a sippy cup for a while but she just doesn’t want to! If I take the spill-proof part out of the lid she can tip the milk into her mouth a drop at a time but I really want her to learn to use it the right way by sipping.
I had AIM on my computer but yesterday when I tried signing on it logged me on and brought it up- but then it disconnected me. Every time I tried after that it wouldn’t even bring up the sign-in form. I tried installing 3 different versions but about halfway through they quit installing! It says it required IE 5.0 or higher, which we have on our computer but don’t use. AIM worked fine when I had AOL but since I switched over to NetZero it hasn’t worked. Does anyone know what the problem could be or what I can do to make it work?
This afternoon I plan to drive down to Williamsburg to meet Jerry about 3pm. We are going to eat out at the Red Flower (Chinese) and hang out with Dave and Andrea and any other friends we run into. It’s a little rainy today, but hopefully the drive will be ok. Take care everyone! Please respond & add your name to the map! *Pictures in last entry if you missed it!*
