It's been a good week, despite everything. On Monday the man working at Whole Foods told me he liked the color of my dress. "I'm a painter," he said. "That's a nice color. I really like it."
On Tuesday my Art History professor read us a poem in class about ancient Egypt. The weather has been so nice--warm but not humid, and sometimes windy! And warm and windy is my favorite.
Today I got my first grade back of the year--a 95.
Katie is coming to visit on Friday (HOORAY!), Bri is coming to visit in October, and Daniel is coming to visit in November. Everyone coming to visit makes it feel even more like home in my dorm room, especially with our new futon. Which I am in love with, even if I did put one of the legs on backwards and couldn't get it off so it is now stuck like that.
Ratatat, neo-Gothic architecture and good landscaping is a combination that I think anyone would love.
Moksa--the achieving of liberation when the soul is finally freed from its potentially endless cycle of wandering (samsara).
