Today I got a job. Yes, no more wrestling with those pesky little bouts of "unemployment depression". I just got back from the interview and orientation, and it seems wonderful. Its a little organic coffee & tea bar in the East Village on the NYU campus, that also serves wine and beer during the evenings. They're starting me off at $7.50 per hour plus tips (which is freakin' great for baristas/waitresses), and in a month I am being bumped-up to $8.50 plus tips because of my experience and because they love me so much. I start tomorrow evening. I rule!
