Christie's Drunken Movie Review

Feb 11, 2006 15:33

I started out slow and easy lastnight with re-watching the documentary, The Weather Underground, pizza, and a couple of cocktails. Since I had seen it before, I got a little impacient with it from time to time, but it is still a quality documentary of the 1960's radical student left movement and such. Very good. After a few more cocktails, I watched the Woody Allen movie, Anything Else, with Jason Biggs, Christina Ricci, Stockard Channing, Danny DeVitto, and of course, Woody Allen. I really liked this film a lot, I would watch it again or reccomend it to anyone who likes Woody Allen movies as much as I do. Biggs and Ricci were amazing in it, and the chemistry between Woody Allen and Jason Biggs was great, as well. The music in this film is absolutely amazing! A lot of Billie Holiday and Cole Porter. It was a cute, off-beat, absurdly humorous, and entertaining romance flick. Go rent it if you like Woody Allen movies, or just a lot of Christina Ricci splayed-out in only underwear and a white t-shirt with no bra smoking cigarettes in-doors. That is the main reason I am hesitant to bring this film with me to Amherst next weekend. Go enjoy it.
