Getting up at 6:20 after falling asleep at 3:30 was so not fun. The interview was fine, even though I was ridiculously nervous and seriously forgot my own address for about 30 seconds. You wouldn't believe how smart I felt :p. So she asked some questions and we signed some things and I had my fingerprint taken for the 100th time and that was that..I am now a conditional permanent resident of the United States. Doesn't that sound like a total contradiction? In two years I apply to drop the 'conditional' part..and a year after that I can apply for citizenship...which takes years. But the great thing is that I no longer need special papers to come in and out of the country and I don't need a special work permit anymore..just my green card. Which btw will take 3 months to a year to get to me..isn't that crazy? I have some stamps in my passport that will act as the same thing until I get it.
Gus switched shifts with Brad for the 28th so we will be able to go down to Bakersfield and see Roosevelt, Something Like Silas and Parker Theory! I'm very happy about that.
I have some crappy things on my mind but I don't feel like wasting time dwelling on it so I won't.
