(no subject)
Guess what..I actually have something exciting to say!
Brad and I are probably going to San Diego in June! I've been wanting to go to San Diego for as long as I remember..I used to drool over the commmercials for Seaworld. This isn't absolutely certain, but when Brad thanked his boss from me for saying he'd try to work it out, Rob said "she owes me", and I wouldn't owe him if he wasn't going to do it :) It wouldn't be his vacation..he's just squishing together his two days off from two weeks so he'd have four days. And the best part of it all is that we're going to the Switchfoot concert at SOMA!
Brad's the best...he came home on his lunch yesterday and I was telling him about getting one of those Switchfoot emails about the soma concert. He was like "and the concert's on the 9th?"
"Yeah."
"So when do the tickets go on sale?"
I'm like "tomorrow", in this sad, resigned to the fact that there's no way we'll go voice.
He was like "I think you need to find out where to buy them"
"Why?"
"Because we're going."
Booya!
Could that be any cooler? Switchfoot in San Diego. It could not. We got our tickets. The excitement has set in. My San Diego friends, I will see you there :D
(In the case that we end up not being able to go, which is unlikely, disregard this entry :p. We'll still go to San Diego...but probably in August...and there won't be an SF concert)
In far less exciting news...I made it all the way through the Superman movie! When Brad and I watched it a few years ago I fell asleep..I fell asleep in the second one too. But come on..it takes 45 minutes for the first one to actually start! It was pretty good though. I had a huge craving for a Frosty in the middle of it...so we went to Wendy's at 11:30 and it was the best Frosty ever. Seriously.
I've been having the worst writer's block this past week. I got a burst of inspiration last night though..so hopefully I can get writing today.
