Poem written after a period of anxiety and depression; too much responsibility and a bit of an identity crises. Praise God for “Working all things together for good” ... and ... XANAX!!

The Victory of Defeat

I’m battle worn and weary
But the battle is my own
I, myself, mine enemy
Demand to mount the throne.

I can picture this kingdom of lost and lonely kings so vividly...
I can sense the peace and joy of running to Christ's Throne... alive in HIm.
I pray that we all will remove the crowns from our heads lay them down and worship the KING of kings.

I hope that you are feeling much better....

and that your refills come in a speedy manner....lol

I am going to have to show this to my son...he loves to speak of the struggle between us being king of our lives or allowing Christ to be King of our lives.
