Last night I decided to pop in a little Dark Side of the Moon when I went to bed. A buddy and I were talking about it, and it is by far my favorite Floyd album.

One of the things that we were talking about is how shameful it is that a lot more people don't know about Pink Floyd. This little-known group never really quite caught on, and I think that it is shameful. I think if the word got out, we could have an entire subculture of people making posters and throw rugs with Floyd Album covers on them, and then they can hang them up on their walls, turn on a couple of blacklights, and get stoned while listening. I can't believe no one has thought about that before. Maybe they can listen to the album several times, and come up with crazy ideas, like playing it alongside The Wizard of Oz (A frighteningly well-done, but lesser known film to come out of the studios in 1939) and seeing if if syncs up.

I suppose that Floyd will go down in the books as one of the world's best kept secrets. They'll just have to hang along in quiet desperation...it's the English way.
