Back at the grindstone on Monday, and the home that I left looked something like a refugee camp. drunah, tmht, and their friend Charron, as well as 2 dogs and 2 cats are at the house. I'm assuming that they are all glued to the TV watching to see if they are going to have a house to go home to. They all got in on Saturday night around 10:00, and have been online and on cell phones for much of the visit. Terry instituted a weather channel ban around the house last night, but that hasn't prevented some sneaking off to the back room to look online.

I've been enjoying the company, but it certainly would be more ideal under other circumstances. The odd tension that hangs over the place has certainly been interesting to watch. Things are just now happening, but everyone is already acting as though they have lost everything. From the sound of it, they have very good reason.

Anyway, we shall see how things pan out. I'm sure that as soon as the Bush administration finds the people responsible for this storm, we'll go to war with them.
