I forgot one symptom
I actually thought I might have dreamed it. But asked my son, and nope, it did happen. He had a sudden feeling of needing to have his tag out of his shirt. Never has he ever had an issue with tags. Ever. So I know this is PANS.
But he still has no issues wearing clothes. He does like to wear the same outfit a lot, takes some cajoling to get him to change outfits. He goes to church a lot in activewear and not church wear. Before PANS he adored dressing up. He wore dress shirts, pants, nice shoes, and a tie. And he has some jackets, and sometimes even liked to wear those. But now, it's all about comfy clothes. A pair of sweats and sweatshirt with hood or a hat. Backpack. Tennis shoes, or flip flops.
Today, it was all about finding last year's flip flops. Gonna need to buy new ones, we can't find the matching flip flop.
