First time poster! :)
As I grow more and more in my faith everyday with Jesus Christ, layer by layer I am pulling away from the world. It is a painful process, especially when you deal with a society that pulls away from God. I was reading through my Bible and this verse really spoke to me and I thought I'd share it with everyone in hopes that it touch someone else.
"For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles." Romans 1:21-22
I am blessed to be one of God's children and although the world isn't that accepting of Him, I should never feel inferior to the world. If anything I should feel comfort in being led by a strong Savior.
Anywho, just thought I'd share. ^_^ What verses have spoken to you this evening?
