When has the world not been in some serious times? When has the Satan not left a profound mark on the earth? What makes this end time prophecy different than all the others made in the past 2,000 years? Does your position that we have 4 good years left negate Christ's declaration that we will not know the time or place?

I would say so. So many times people have predicted that end times were near, and every time they were proven wrong. Perhaps there are only a few years left, who knows, but I don't think it's worth worrying over. If we have Christ, we'll be okay in the end, whenever that is.

It's rather apparent the early apostles thought the return of Christ was imminent. Ill-advised predictions of the end of the world have been going on in the Church from the beginning. This ill-advised prediction is just more of the same, and has no place in the Christian faith. (not that you needed to know that, I'm just saying).

I am biting my tongue as hard as I can to avoid making an unedifying remark.

I will say however that this kind of prophecy is entirely false and that four years and one day from now I hope those who promulgate these lies from hell will completely repent -- and that as a sign of that repentance they will submit themselves to some sort of godly leadership.
