Jesus sure talks about rewards a lot, as do the epistles.
But if you do a keyword search, every reference to rewards is singular.
I had a discussion during Bible study last night about the use of reward. But I don't feel you get a shiny, fast car when the earth is remade and you cruise down New Jerusalem, or anything like that.
Jesus does say in Matth. 16:27 that one is rewarded according to his doings, but this seems to me that this is still all pointing toward being in Christ.
Am I right that the reward that is constantly referenced, and always singular, is the reward of spending eternity with Christ?
